Do I need a GP referral?
No. As a First Contact Practitioner, Tommy sees patients directly for assessment and treatment.
What should I wear or bring?
Loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Bring any relevant scan or referral letters if you have them.
Will treatment be painful, or will I be sore afterwards?
Treatment is kept as comfortable as possible and tailored to your tolerance. While manual techniques can occasionally cause brief, mild discomfort when working on tight or tender tissues, I always work within your feedback. It is completely normal to experience mild residual soreness for 24 to 48 hours following a session - much like the feeling after a good workout - as your body adapts to the changes.
How long is the first appointment?
The first session is 60 minutes, covering case history, examination and initial treatment. Follow-ups are 40 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends entirely on your diagnosis, whether the condition is acute or chronic, and your individual health goals. Many acute issues show significant improvement within 2 to 4 sessions, whereas long-standing or complex complaints may require a longer management plan. I will provide a clear, tailored treatment roadmap following your initial consultation.
Is osteopathy covered by health insurance?
Many insurers cover osteopathy. Check with your provider, and get in touch if you need documentation for a claim.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, e-gift cards are available in a range of amounts.
How do I pay for my appointment?

What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less notice, and no-shows, are charged the full appointment fee.
